I would like to send my tea thru some overhead misters but when I do, the little hose-filter plugs up very quickly. I do keep the compost in paint strainer bags.
Does anyone have experience with in-line filters? Mesh sizes seem to be "200 mesh" and "155 mesh". Will these work to keep out the debris? Will they let thru the beneficial organisms?
Thanks.

400 micron is ideal, but you could probably get by with 200 if that's all you can get. The bacteria would still get through. I"d be more concerned about your nozzle tips, and potential bio-film buildup in your system (flush very well!).

We use in-line filters on everything that goes thru our bulk tank. This is how we get the compost tea on the patch. In-line filters work fine for us. Have to clean them occassionallly. Lee
