I've seen agave nectar used in AACT instead of molasses. Is there any benefit to this? Is one better than the other?

Isn't agave more exspensive? Just wondering if the benifits justify the cost? I was trying to look up info on the benifits,but didn't find much.Just that it's used as a sweetener like honey.Do you have any info?

I didn't find much info either. I just found it listed as an ingredient in a couple of different AACT recipes while I was searching online. That's all I have and I was just curious.
