I have a worm farm and it produces about 5lbs of castings a month. Any advises on how to store the castings over the winter?

My advice would be to keep it evenly moist (treat it like it has a plant in it). And then store in a cool moist location through the winter. I like to throw a bit of organic alfalfa meal or some other food source in there for them to keep the microbes active.

Would it need fresh air too?
