2416 is going to grow heavy to chart. I believe the 2195 is set up to do the same.

Stagger them a week apart? Side by side comparisons are iffy. Sometimes they show the better plant, sometimes they fool you. I've had the scawniest plants turn out really good, but the nicest, biggest plants can hit a plateau where they get to fourth gear and they dont have any fifth gear. Maybe thats just me.
If you are pushing for an early start then staggering is the way to go so that you will have a healthy plant of the correct size when the very first favorable opportunity comes, plus a backup in case something happens during that first week in the ground. You can always use any extras as backup pollinator plants, or give them away.

Did you read Rmens' post on seed starting? I am not a great grower but I have read and followed the posts and diaries. One thing I have observed is that the consistently good growers start more seeds than they need and then cull. Make sure your soil is right as well. I know it is hard to throw away good genetics(especially if you paid decent money for them) but that seems to be part of growing consistently big.

2100 Stelts. Seeds that are more than a few years old may pop up a day slower. I think the Haist is on the edge where you might have to cut it some slack. My 2005 Haist was a small plant to start with but it came around really nice and I could tell it was a perfectly good plant genetically. (It shares 50% of its genes in common with the 2416.)
I think you gotta trust your best intuition for the best results. If you truly dont know then just let your woman or your kids decide... They may have beginners luck or natural intuition.

As there is NO basis for what a seed may grow for you on at least the first time around, ever, the one(s) with (an) appreciable track record(s). All crosses look good on paper, especially ones that FLY from the actual paper they are written on, yes?. I will also figure that out and still agree with it tomorrow, lol---eric g
