Good job GPC on the recent growers convention. When the donate link is back up, lets all send in a couple bucks to help keep this plant healthy.

Thank you it’s very easy to take for granted where the money comes from to keep the GPC going in fact, I think it’s possible not many people give it a second thought. All the shows receive their rosettes basically at the lowest price possible to be a GPC show and in doing so get the most amazing pumpkins which in turn leads to much bigger crowds. Wouldn’t it be great if a few shows like ours decided to recognise this and make some sort of donation. We need to make the next Big Show more accessible to people and we need to encourage the next generation Stewie

One thing that could be done to attract new growers to the GPC is container growing and possibly a Master Container Grower award with different categories. New homes don't have huge lots to grow the traditional GPC categories and this would be a way for them to compete in this hobby.

My neighbors grow in a 4x8 planter box with less than a foot of dirt in it. They got a nice 125 lb fruit last year. With a little more knowledge, they will do even better this year. So yes, it's possible!
