FYI. I just received a bubble back from Germany that I mailed in November which was opened and A sticker attached saying Not Permitted and Not EU-compliant product. Refused by Customs.

I always put pumpkin seeds on the customs declaration because that's what they are and I sign my name to it. I have issues of lying on the customs declaration and feel at some point there will be people caught.

VTJohn and Tom K-----I'm far from an expert sending seeds overseas, but if you indicate they are (lie a little) guitar picks they will go through. I've sent several and it works.
It's my understanding that European Countries do not want some agricultural products in. They have regulations to protect from pests, diseases and evasive stuff, especially, coming from outside of Europe. Again, I'm not an expert.

You were lucky to get it back. I still have one in Germany from two or three years ago.

VTJohn, I think its just hit or miss. I received one back this week from Germany that was sent in November as well with the same sticker. I also sent 20 other bubbles that all arrived in 3 week with no issues. I received 5 bubbles from Germany. 3 came in less than 3 weeks. One was sent with tracking and was held up in Customs in Germany for almost 2 months and was then released to me about two weeks ago. But the one bubble from Germany I really wanted to plant this season has been held up in Customs for two months and I'm starting to think it's never going to make it to me, but I still have my fingers crossed.

I could play the guitar with a pumpkin seed just as well as if it were a real pumpkin seed.
Just sayin'.

I had one returned from Germany as well. Took over three months to get it back to me. Same sticker as OP.
