It’s takes a lot of time and effort to grow a giant pumpkin. I always thought after I retire I would have a chance to grow that big one. At 69 I’m still trying but I just can’t do what I used to everything heavier than it used to be!

I think Ross Bowman from Utah was 87 last year when he grew 2 over 2000 pounds.

Roger, you surely have a lot of knowledge under your belt. Maybe you could find and apprentice. A couple of 4H club kids might throw in with you and do some of the heavy work. Keep on Truckin brother.

87 is amazing. I think Pete Glasier was 80 or close to it when he grew his 2036. 87, wow!

Not a 2k pkn, but there was a pic on here many years back of a much older gentleman up very high on a structure he built (maybe in Sweden or Switzerland). I even forget what he was growing, but it was a great pic. He definitely was drinking from the fountain of youth.

Bo Persson of Sweden who grew the WR amaranth, perhaps? That was back in 2012.
