Lots of great looking plants out there but I wonder how often growers run into a "sour stomach" issue in their soil by adding organics, heat, and water. The current wisdom (digging a hole to install heating cables and then backfilling with amended soil) seems to omit any possibility that anything could go wrong with this method?

I see lots of monitoring of C02 above ground but maybe growers should also be monitoring oxygen levels at 6" or 12" depth in their soil, as well? I can't do it myself this year, so I'll just throw this idea out to you.

Everyone seems to want to get the best start possible.
