Ron Wallace sells a great water soluable product and I bet a quick message to him will result in a proper answer to your inquiry.

It really depends on a few factors, and so many growers do things differently. For me, I am a spoon feeder and will go with 200-300 ppm on a more regular basis. I had extensive consultations and an in person meeting with a Stoller Enterprises representative who advised me to use Ureamate at 250 ppm. Also, before using another water soluable product called Master Blend, I consulted 2 very experienced and accomplished growers who mixed this product in their tanks before applying and much to my surprise, both growers also recommended using this product at 200-300 ppm.

If you are using crap water soluble fertilizer like Miracle Gro and mix it to the label recommations, you will be feeding at 1000+ ppm and for my garden and pumpkin patch, that is excessive and will do more harm than good.

Whatever you do, take solid advice from a seasoned grower and get several opinions and I think you will find a common denominator that most good giant pumpkin growers would never fertilize at the recommended rates because we feed more often.

That’s an easy question to answer for you.
Do not go over EC2.4
No matter what you put on your plants always check the EC first.
Most fertilisers really need to be applied under the leaves or at the very least washed off so that you don’t get a build up of salts on the leaves.
It would be worth sending a soil sample away because at this time of year I doubt if they need anything. I’m not exactly sure but we certainly haven’t put anything on our plants for at least a month and a half.
Feeding the plants heavily when the pumpkins start to grow fast is an urban myth.

Yes I feed Rons products at about 0.75 -1.2 ec about once a week is that sufficient enough or more or less.
