For your 350.5 Kent, what was the final DAP? What range of DAP would you define as "typical" for your melons?

101 dap for the 350 normal for me on a healthy melon is 90-95 dap

In other words, a third-year grower such as myself should expect about 70 DAP. Got it. ;)

Most of the longevity of a melon is determined by how well the grower keeps up with a good program of spraying, watering, pruning, weeding, stump protection, melon protection and so on. A properly cared for plant and fruit can easily go over 90 days I think. Chris' 350 looked like it could have held on for several more weeks. The stem of the melon was completely green and the plant appeared to be in excellent health.
