Hi everyone! This was our first year growing giant watermelon and I am trying to get my "ducks in a row" in preparation for next year. I am looking for any help with some basic questions from the watermelon growers here.

1. What are the best soil amendments for growing giant watermelons.(manures,compost,etc.)
2. What is proper spacing between plants or stumps.
3. What is the recommended amount of space for each plant.
