Chris, the SOGPG and Operation Pumpkin have been contacted by Guinness World Records and they want to verify your 350.5 as the new world record. I have forwarded that e-mail to you (provided your e-mail address hasn't changed)and the SOGPG will be happy to provide all the information it has regarding your melon. If you need to, you can contact me at: jgerchy@columbus.rr.com.

I tried to push you as hard as I could Chris but it was you who never took the initiative. I told you what all was required and how to go about it but it was you who didn't seem to give a shit one way or the other. Looks like someone else had to do the heavy lifting for you. So if I were you I'd cool the wise cracks and be humble and thankful.

I just kinda wonder what a nice gentleman like Chris, who has set the world record twice, has to be humble about. And also I wonder what a nice person like Chris has to be thankful about since he could have accomplished Guinness recognition on his own any time he wanted to. Humble and thankful ? No one likes to be pushed on and I know all this pushing on Chris to get this done has somewhat irritated him. Perhaps he has decided to do this in part to avoid continued criticism from a few people who like to impose their will on others. The bottom line is it should be up to Chris to decide about his personal recognition in the Guinness record book. It is quite simply not the business of anyone else.Humble and thankful ? LOL Spudley

Nice to see some people are still around, was kinda dead here. I'm just messing with you scott. Chill a little, that should be easy up there with the long winters ! I have fun doing what i do, thats the only way to grow. IMHO. Besides, its time for a new WR. Guiness better get with the show, they are 3 records behind ! LOL
