I got a old garden at my house hasn't been used what do I need to do after I till it to have it ready for my watermelons in about three weeks?

Had the soil tested yet?
That will tell you what you should add.
Contact your local cooperative extension.
They should be able to help you with having your soil tested.
when you get your results you should be able to find help here with any amendment ratios.

Not very accurate.
Most of your cooperative extensions are affiliated with universities in your state,in your case probably Clemson university.
Excellent agricultural programs there.
Some cases you pay about the same as one of those store bought tests.
I have mine prepared by Virginia Tech,costs me about 15 bucks.
You can go through Western Labs, they are excellent, but more costly.
