I know you all will probably laugh at me for asking this, but what's the largest watermelon anyone has grown in a container garden? I live in an apartment complex and would like to try a watermelon next year in a large container. At first I was thinking of trying some Black Diamond watermelons or some smaller Carolina Cross seeds, but those might be too large for a container garden. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

143 or 153Lb as far as iI know but it was within cinder blocks in a raised bed 3ft wide by 8ft long roughly and raised bed was also 3ft high but iI do not feel you will need more than 1.5ft high AND vines will obviously need to escape this spot around to the best you can within the space.. if it were me and iI were stuck in apartmement complex I'd bribe someone into some space to grow something...
