is there a process, and chart, for measuring water melons???
this is my first time growing melons, and i am interested in their growing progress. thank you;;;

Also check out the GWG website it has 2 different charts on it. You would measure the same way you do a pumpkin. Circumference, side to side, and end to end. Consider joining the Giant Watermelon Growers club, great club for melon growers.

I've found the chart on the GWG site to be a little more accurate than the GPC chart.

thank you guy's, for your replies, i knew i would get some
information on this site.
i had a bit of room left in my patch, so i put in a couple of melons this year. they are going really well. it will be good to follow their progress next season;
