It seems all of my seeds out of my melons are white, is this normal? It was the same last year. I buy seeds and they are not always white.

White seeds are normal. Most are a brownish red color, but some are white.

All of mine are white, I have never had brownish red color seeds from any of my melons.

Does any one know what color Black Diamond seeds are supposed to be? Or does it not matter?

Black Diamond seeds are almost black in a newly cut melon. They dry to a deep brown covered in specks of a yellow mist. Most of the dark seeded Carolina Cross melons trace back to the 219 and 255 pound Conrad melons of the early 80's. There doesn't seem to be any linkage between seed color and fruit size.

Mr Bright is correct... some have white, some red, some almost black.
