still a pretty decent fan of melon itself here. whats everyone else going with after this year? luffa bushel rampart Gl-1 (oversized rampart) squash stars and moons melon Melon. shintosa- for those brave people?? pear gourd Giant pear?

Bushel Giant pear And Blue queensland squash for me. The gourd plants were amazing this year. Took over the entire garden and no desease.

GL-1 for me.Could potentially have (4) melons over 200 #'s this year. For me that's a great accomplishment. All (4) were grown on the GL-1 rootstock with the axe blade grafting method as I refer to it.No stump issue's but I did the sand and pea gravel filtration/drainage on all plants and a lot of preventative measures for stump rot.

I may give the Atlantic Giant rootstock a trial. I would like to see if I can get one to grow through the whole season.
