Lol...reminds me of one of our first years with the long gourds ...we were so excited to watch that thing grow right Up a ladder and into the trees!...only problem is we could couldn’t get up to the 22’ to harvest the gourd...that thing was up there for awhile...

To compete within long gourds, is there a sort of "thickness" required?

If not, this one, more looking like a long bean than a long gourd, makes a chance to get really long... :-)

It grows about 2 inches a day.
