Any one using cattle panels for long gourds? treetop

Yes I use cattle on the top flat part of trellis. Use woven wire fence up the sides. Flat on top is 8'w x 32' long.

Thanks gmay. I was wondering if i could put two in a teepee style if it would work? braced at bottom with tee posts. iv seen them bent but looks like your only getting about 6 feet.treetop

teepee Hmm I don't like that idea(but what do I know). look at my diary Tuesday July 23, 2013. will give you an idea of my setup. Shows LG hanging in the air from the flat top of trellis ( 13' up in the air) good luck

I have a wood frame on each side, with panels making an arch between them. The sides are on raised beds with a wide trench down the middle. Gourds can get 12' long before I have to dig a hole for them
