Paul...A couple other growers and myself were wondering if you could write a little ditty on Big Zacs and what you do to grow them as big as you do. It could go in the articles section here with misting system articles and the such. At 4 lbs, you seem to be "the man" around here...teach us...teach us....G

I done gone and mail ordered me sum of dem big zacs and fixin to start one in a 5 gallon bucket, the dirt is from my barn and has some horse S mixed in with it.. what im wondering is how well do they grow indoors?? and will they bare fruit indoors? thanky,Keith

I ordered my seeds on line from Totally Tomatoe 1-3-02 and haven't recieved them yet. How long does it take to get them? I ordered my Ailsae giant onions on the same date from Exhibition Seeds in the UK, and recieved them two weeks later (onions are already up!).

Guys,

Just remember that since just about anything that wanders along can pollinate these with pollen from who knows where, that if you keep seeds from year to year, you will get "off types".

Gads, I think it took close to a month before my seeds came from totally tomatoes. Planted my Ailsea tonight. It's a little late for a huge one but its a beginners try.

Gads, they are not real swooft when it comes to shipping or replying to emails, it took about 2 weeks for me to get my seeds.. but they did send me a free pack of some other tomato seeds!!!

Brian, did you get the how to Super Onion manual as well? They use a greenhouse, and a lot of the same techniques us pumpkin growers do. I think yours, and my growing season is off a little from theirs so maybe we are not to late to get a monster Onion. I also just learned that it takes two years for these long day onions to seed! I have a lot to learn....
