I just ordered both red-fleshed and yellow-fleshed moon & stars watermelon seeds from www.heirloomacresseeds.com They should be here soon. I'm sure there will be more seeds than I can plant so if you'd like some, email me and I'll send you some when they get here.

If you're talking tasty then Bucks County is my favorite. Very large blight resistant bushes with loads of delicious tomatos.
You can get seeds from Burpee or even at Lowe's.

I grew a 5 pound 2 oz. monster last year. Tasted very sweet, it was Big Zac. It was not even a multiple stamen mutant tomato, just one stamen, and I still broke 5 pounds. I did not start the plants early enough, but I would have done great at the fair had I brought it down there. Other than only letting the plant put on one fruit at a cluster, and making sure the soil was good, and planting the vine about 12” deep, I did nothing unusual as far as regular good care. The big ones I did use pantyhose strips to help support, the stems are stronger than I though the would be however. There is little to compare it to.

For monster tomatos I will not grow anything else anymore.

For the regular eaters I try to find hybrids with the most resistance. Oddly, even though the Big Zac is not noted for disease resistance mine had less problems than plants that were VFFSN,TSt, so that is why for monster, that hybrid is all I will grow.

For regular eaters I will still grow the other smaller ones too, jut that BZ is IMHO the kind of consistent freaks.

More on that, had I just let the plant do its thing, and put on more than 1 main vine, like 3-5 vines, and let it keep more than 1 per cluster, it would still likely have hit more than 1 pound with most of the fruit.
