Hi,

Every year I get these round very flat bugs that I pick off my tomato leaves. Their shell is kind of hard and they do leave holes on the leaves.Any idea what these might be? I don't see a lot of them, just one or two once in a while.

I found out these are lace bugs. Not too sure how destructive they are though.

If you see the adults its the young nymphs you have to worry about. A light spraying of insecticial soap, will knock them off. Otherwise you can spray them with any contacty insecticide to kill them.
