I was wondering how they grew tomatoes comercially? di they use cages or stakes? just curious.

This past fall my family and I drove down the Delmarva peninsula, Down in the Virginia section of it we passed acres and acres of tomatoes all were staked with wooden stakes and grown on black plastic covered rows. It was something to see all those tomatoes. I couldn't even imagine the amount of labor involved in those operations. I am sure a lot of it is mechanized though.
