I love to fish too , might go icefishing this weekend.Only thing about nice hot summers for growing veggies is that it's the same weather for putting up hay.It keeps me busy for most the summer and the job and kids fill in the rest of the time.I have to squeeze gardening in though cause I love doing that too .
Treetop- do you hunt down there ?

Gearing for starting the spring starts, first wave soon. From here on in it's flat after flat of goodies until pumpkins in April. Plus we do a Delicious tomato plant handout every spring end of May; gotta do 300 or so for that. Peppers, tomatoes, sedum, kale, geraniums, melons, and more. I maybe get a 6-8 week window of break in a year..... gotta love it!

OkieGal, I'm beginning to think you live in your potting shed, and your plants live in the house. LOL

Not far from it... actually the kitchen has potmix sitting in pails on the floor again.
