Wondering how many are still in this? i will check from time to time just to make sure there are folks still playing the GAME. my last few post didnt get many replies, so please post and if your starting indoors yet and what your starting, i know we all are getting cabin fever with this stupid weather but its got to get nice someday. i have about 25 started one of the two that realy took off was one of duanes seeds i starded about 5 they are realy out growing the others and a tomato called mega tom i never tried it before but the three i started are growing great,they are under the grow lights i keep them just touching the bulb shield, lets hear from everyone . I live in PA and will not be starting any seeds until May 1 to May 15. Otherwise they get to big and leggy before I can get them out in the garden.

mine are doing good got 150 going, big zacs are a real hardy plant!!!!! got a 1/2 a bucket of eggshells and some coffee grinds ready to go my plants will be leggy but i just bury them deeper lol pizza hope all is good for everyone !!!! hope im not number 47 lol pizza

you guys are running a bit slow this season compared to me.
my 37 plants have been outside in walls o waters 4 weeks under my reinforced hoop house. they still doing good even after the hoop houses being were covered by snow .

Well underway here, the 'mama plants' are doing their duty, other competition strain stuff is working on popping up and I'm about to start the handout flats and what I plan on growing for eating this year. Since I started the Harps 29 Dec 09, I'd say I'm ahead of ya, Matt :)

I planted my eating tomatoes mid February as I have for years. Lost every one of them due to such cold weather I could not get them enough light. They got so leggy they just laid down.

I am gonna wait till warm weather to start my competition maters.

Glad to hear from you all, pizza 150 WOW glad im not working your garden lol, we still need a shout out from a lot more of you, i know some are away from home but we still have a bunch left, come on now !!!!! by the way i forgot my friend cholo i have three of your lifters growing and doing fine,iv started a few of ea that i wanted to grow and im going to try to start some cuttings and it sure is nice seeing something growing in this bad weather. 2.71, 2.74 Lovelaces looking huge, 2.77 went over and on stake now. The Harps are seriously huge, the first clone is under lights and happy, the leaf tests (knocked a few off by accident) are rooting, wonder if they will shoot.

1.32 Rinne is up trying to spit seedcase. Others making bumps. (Rinne and Mantyniemi)

Rebuilt the tomato light rack, up to eight shoplights and have box risers for bottom set (one rack of lights are at 4.5 feet) and top set get wired today. About to lay flats for the giveaways and eaters. Six weeks to pumpkins.

For those of you who are not going to try to grow anything in pots, I suggest that you give it a shot. I saw some 55 gallon barrels for sale here for $12 each. These sawed in half make a great container to try a few tomatoes in. Learn how to do it now because you may not always have a big back yard or an area to grow in. Not everyone will always have a yard and especially some city condo dwellers. Wilber grew over 100 pounds of tomatoes in one container.

We started our Timm seeds in mid Feb, they are all comming along nicely just hitting the 1st true leaf stage. Some are much more agressive than others I hope that means they will be more productive!
