If I have a tomato to weigh.....
I can use the GPC form.......
Use a certified scale ......
Get Picture.....
Follow guidelines.......
Have witnesses....
Submit to GPC immediately .....
and it will be considered for GPC entry at a GPC weigh-off later in the year? after I eat it?
- or to put it another way -
Do I have to have my tomato weighed at a GPC weigh-off?

Yes, John, pretty much....

The site may not count it as an official "day-of" entry (for local prizes), but the GPC will count it in our database.

Since I have to collect the incoming GPC emails, I would suggest limiting it to your top 1 or 2 early specimens.

I thought that tomotoes could be entered only two weeks early....maybe that was last year?

P&T Grower Club will help with local area certified tomato weighs; and we are having a specific tomato weighoff with GPC sanctioning mid Sept. We will submit data for listing, but only tomatoes entered the day of our weighoff in person will be considered for our weighoff prizes.

Sorry Cornhusk, you're a bit too far from us... you are welcome to bring us one Thurs Sept 16th though :)

Way down here in end of OK...

I messed up and planted too early. Had to pick a ripe tomato, weighed 4.03 lb and was 23 in in circumference.
Weighted on a cetiified scale with witness.
