first off let me say thank you to everyone who joined the gtg!!! 1- andy h. 3.9 (winner)
2- gritch. 3.3
3-shazzy. 3.08

5- pizza. 2.08
those are the top 5 tomatos in our contest where u see double numbers is where we had a tie for that place!!!


we had about 25 entries in all,some had a good season some just ate tomatos lol !!! honorable mention goes to treetop for his 3.65 knox with he withdrew to try and get some more people to weigh inn tomatos !!!! at one point i was finding tomatos in diarys that were not weighed inn !!!! so i hope next year we can get a few more weighed inn the contest !!! i will work with glen over the winter and try to get a few prizes for next year any suggestions are welcome??????

we also had multipile tomatos grown by a few members and some nice maters in diarys that were not in a pic with the scale in it!!!! but all in all we had a good contest !!! congrats to andy.h for comeing out on top !!!!
sighn inn sheet will be up in jan. for next season !!!

Pete, I hate to do this but my tomato was 3 lbs. 9 oz. not 3.9 lbs. which makes it 3.56 lbs. if my math is right.

FYI: Billy K's tomato was 2 pounds 10 ounces = 2.775 pounds.

I'm sorry. The largest tomato I've seen of BillyK's this season was 2lbs. 12.4 ounces which = 2.775 pounds.

2lbs. 10 ounces works out to the decimal equivalent of: 2.63

yes duane you are right bill k did have 2 lbs.12 oz for his biggest mater sorry i missed that bill !!!!! i asked everyone to email me with their entries in the begining of the contest but some i had to get from going through diarys !!!! i tryed to do a good job its alot of work going through diarys lol !!!

so hear we go lets try this again lol !!!

Congrads to all ! My seeds bought on ebay grew horrible.They were big zacs but were some of my smallest maters.

gene what was your biggest big zac????? i thought me or glen sent you seeds ???? hope i did not forget ???? please email me and ill ho0k you up with seeds !!!!! pizzapete@hotmail.com i have some now and a few more comeing from another gtg member to share with everyone !!!!!! pizza ps. i bought big zcas at totaly tomatos and grew a 2 pounder a buddie of mine grew same seeds grew a 5 pounder he uses alot of hore manure!!!!! i have not seen big zac on ebay i bet they were not big zacs most of my maters were from baseball sized to 2 pounds had about 20 1-1/2 pounders too !!!!
