With the prolonged period of sunshine and heat and not many cool or cloudy days, tomatoes will ripen early this year compared to other years. This could be a 60 day year rather than an 80 day one for beefsteak tomatoes. So hot out it is incredible. Marv

Just dip them in batter while they're still on the vine and they will fry themselves by suppertime. (or so I swear)
