would anyone know where to mail the early tomato entry form. i cant seem to find the address on the gpc web site, i e-mailed them, but no responce?, any help would be great!

marv, this is the pfd file for the form, i searched the gpc site and only come up with an e-mail address,tried that, i,m wondering if i should get in touch with our aera

Hi Guys, sorry I missed the post. That email address is correct, you can send them to me.

I will say, please limit the early entries to your one or two heaviest (which will be too early to take to a contest). If you want them added into the results of your local event, you will have to make sure they take care of that at the time of the weighoff.

I am the only one dealing with the tomato entries, and basically just gathering the information to fall back on if anyone questions the weighoff entries. This is not the best process to deal with the situation, and I hope we have something better figured out for next year.

Please be patient, as I'm a bit behind on emails as is.

Any info on this contest? Like whats the prize if any, how is a mater concidered "certified"? I dont wanna win anything I would just be happy to have a mater to talk about on my first year of giant mater growing.

Our club has been taking 'off season' certifying if someone asks. In this case the fruit is inspected according to our weighoff rules, weighed and fruit on scale picture is taken, then it is measured the three ways for Bryan's chart data; and all sides of fruit get a picture (minimum both sides and bottom). We hold a real tomato weighoff, and report off season weighs and certifications as 'E' class...

Andy if that's wrong let us know.
