I am looking at getting into tomatos next year, I've been told that they need to be pruned, but I don't know what to prune, any ideas?

Buy "Giant Tomatoes" by Marv Meisner. This is the best buckage you will spend. It shows you what you need to know to grow a healthy tomato, then grow for greatness, and how to train and prune for best results.

Extreme Pumpkin (they have a click on logo on this site, to go to theirs) has the book... and there are many other places to get it.

glen.95 Marvin Meisner is a super nice person. His book has lots of good info."Giant Tomatoes" It's a must have if you want to grow giant tomatoes. I have a copy and have read it from cover to cover 3 times. Marv comes to this forum and shares his knowledge with us. There are some very good giant tomato growers on this site. They will help you when the season starts back up next spring. Here is a you Tube with Marv Meisner and some good info. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qSZIXjuJzI
