Guys. I have been looking for awhile for a place where I could post my tips, modify them after I have posted them, if need be, and add pictures to the posts. BP does not allow one to add pictures directly to their posts. I have started to post some of my tips on the Tomato Depot. I have seen some of you posting at Garden Web and Tomatoville, two tomato grower sites, but none at Tomato Depot. Garden Web and Tomatoville are not so much about big tomatoes and the "audience" at each was not all that receptive to big tomatoes. They do offer excellent info about tomatoes in general though. How do all of you feel about putting "Tips" and pictures up on Tomato Depot? Would you like me to post them there and here (without pics) or is there enough? I am not wanting to upset anyone. On the Tomato Depot site there are people who know a lot about tomato growing who can give all of us more advice and criticize what we are doing if they think they have a better way. At the Tomato Depot I post as thebigtomato not because I am the big tomato but because that is my goal. What do you think? Check it out. http://tomatodepot.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=questions

Tomatoes for the most part are self pollinating. They don't need the bees. Marv

This is the first time I've heard of The Tomato Depot. I was able to register fine.

Perry's Greenhouse (www.perrysgreenhouse.com) would also be an excellent format which allows up to 10 pics per post - but it doesn't appear to have nearly as many active participants who are tomato growers.

It is a little puzzling to see people who are enthused about tiny, striped, hollow, white, heart-shaped, ruffled, fuzzy, dwarf, or whatever tomato oddity but then seem to consider giant tomato growing to be an unworthy pursuit.

So post away - we're looking forward to your tips!

I think you should do both. I definitely read this one and can read The Tomato Depot especially if you put in some pictures. I'm megablossom over there and JCAB here.

I am not leaving here. I am just putting up the tips at Tomato Depot. I really like being able to edit things I put up and I think being able to add pictures is helpful to all. Marv
