Can you terminate the tomato stem? main vine? giant pumpkins when they get to 30-35 feet some people terminate them. Can you cut the top of the tomato plant off say when it reachs 8ft, anybody do that? good bad?

i try to cut mine at 6 foot but every year i let them go to 8 ft. i got to stop think ing taller is better,lol any plant with a megabloom this year is getting prooned!!! pizza

I pruned mine at 6 feet this year,grew 3 PBs, 3.38, 3.42& 3.89
I think more plant is a waste on all we grow,kins melons,maters.
