I have a contest in two weeks and my tomato is just starting to turn. When is the best time to pick? If I pick early, just store in the fridge?

Hi,

Mine just started to flash color so I too had to pick mine.
Pick yours before it ripens any further and place it in the refrigerator.

This retards the ripening process.

It should last you until contest time without it ripening much further.
