SEAMSFASTER

East Carbon, Utah

I'm done as far as the contest is concerned; my largest was:

Church (3.208 Thurber 2012)

A larger Big Zac is out of the competition - it won't make the Oct. 31st deadline. With the aide of a tarp and a light, it managed to get through a hard freeze in decent condition.

Forecast calls for warmer weather over the next few days. Perhaps then it will finally start to ripen? A ripe tomato is roughly 5% heavier than a green one of the same dimensions, and I really want to see if this one will crack 4 lbs. At this rate, it might be Thanksgiving before I cut it off the vine?! I'll post final weight and pics in my grower diary and my blog - see www.gianttomatoseeds.com.

Congrats to all growers of the really GIANT ones! Maybe next year I'll figure out how to be more competitive!

JCAB

Santa Fe,New Mexico

My biggest was a Big Zac that weighed 2 lbs 6 oz and was 18 inches circumference. Can be verified on my diary at JCABO here on bigpumpkins. Not the biggest but wanted it recorded by you Pete. How about listing all the tomato weights so we can see where we ended up?
