It's not just you. I noticed it a few weeks ago.

I think Plant Your Own is now defunct. :O(

I know many of us including myself signed up for their tomato contest.

Perhaps someone else might have an answer, I sure don't.

I have been bombarded with spammers, had the site hacked several times and I am just sick and tired of throwing thousands of $s into the site to get hacked / spammed everyday. I dont mind spending the money however when I am fighting hackers and spammers and cant do anythnig about it, just doest make much sense.

If anyone has any ideas I would be glad to hear them. I put a lot of time, effort and $ into the site and it is just a shame people try and corrupt it. Believe me, I would love to keep the site going. Its very easy to turn it back on but before someone can help me with spammers, I just cant do it.

Hi Ray,

I'm sorry that idiots are ruining your hard work.
Perhaps you can explain a little further with how spammers are getting in.
As I had joined your site I however do not recall if there was a review process in place in order to screen applicants.

Did you have such in place?

Non paid moderators of the website would be a large part of being successful in removing much of the plague.
