Now that Gordon Graham's long standing record has fallen to Dan, will the new goal be 10 pounds? If the pumpkin growers broke through the one ton mark will the tomato growers be shooting for 10 pounds? I would think so but we will see. It will take some time to absorb Dan's feat and to adapt some of his new techniques such as a small plant grown under cover but I know growers will and I believe the new target will be 10. Who is in?

Yes indeed the plant is very short. I never thought it would be possible to grow a tomato 8 lbs with so little vegetation. But Dan to choose this method and this is the World Record. The season is not over, I think it's going to be another good news !!

Two months left in the growing season here - massive pruning and thinning in progress...

Remarkable indeed, Fabrice - a 4.00 lb. tomato on an 18" vine!!
