I started about 10/12 of them, only 1/2 has germinated.
Still glad to grow Minnie seeds.

After nine days I had zero germination on six of them. Planted the remaining six four days ago with nothing as of yet...I still have my fingers crossed.

UPDATE: As of this afternoon I have two out of twelve Zaczilla seeds that have germed.

I use heating mat set at approx 85F that heats a domed grow chamber. This is the same setup I use each season with great success. Most seeds this season have germed in four days. Only the Zaczilla seeds have been an issue. I'm just happy that I have two so far that are up. I can't wait to see how this plant performs and what mega blooms it produces.

For oct. Weigh off, the tomato takes aproximently 55-60 from flower to ripen. So if you plant at end of may, have it pollinated at end of july to aug.1 you should have one ready for oct 1 weigh off.

Much better germination results have been obtained on Zaczilla seeds, if you first soak them for two hours in (saltpetre - Nitrate of potash- Pottasiumj Nitrate) at one level teaspoonful to 2 litres of water in the stock bottle, then-soak all your stater compost with a strong Chamomile tea solution, which kills all pathogens and harmful other things, you should then get a germination rate of approx 85%- this is what we discovered over at the (Tomato Depot) with great results, this method also applies to other tomato seeds and pepper seeds, and increases the germination rate much better.

Makes sense soaking the seeds in KNO3 for awhile. I soak my pepper seeds before planting them to get better germination rates. I will do the same for my Zaczillas before I plant them.
