hey everyone, i finally moveing i got a new place to live lady gave me free range in back yard its all grass, was thinking of a bunch of raised beds like 3 ft. by 20 for tomatos and a 30x12 for a squash plus my pots and other plants any suggestions on wat to put in soil for starting new????

im thinking black kow composted manure to layer bottom,cause i really like it but not sure wat else to put in??? besides chicken poop,peatmoss,and azomite any suggestions or help would be apreciated !!! thanks pizza

Even with raised beds I would still till up the ground 8" before adding the raised beds... Good luck pizza!!

Hey Pete, that's great. It sounds like you now have a real place to grow!
Do you think you will likely have any problems with critters?

maybe squirls, besides that i think im good with critters im gona put a bird feeder in front yard to hopefully keep the squirls out of back yard ,lol, i got a whole back yard like 50 by 30 i can use most of lol, maybe ill rototill in feb if not frozen not moveing till april 1st. but gona start work as soon as i can ,thanks guys!!! pizza maybe ill have a good year this year cant grow anything of any size in the condo im in !!!
