Ken and Dale and I are working on entering some of the data we have collected on tomato seed heritage. We were able to properly identify a lot of the seeds but certainly all. When the new information is posted we will be asking the growers that if they can identify for us some of the genetics not listed for their tomatoes so that we can further improve the charts. What would really be helpful would be for growers to plant in 2016 only those tomato seeds with know heritage. Unknown seeds grown for 2016 will not help us move forward. Stay tuned. Practically all of the large tomatoes grown last year appear to have come from the Big Zac line with Domingo and Delicious bringing up the rear and with MegaMarv, ZacZilla and Brutus Magnum way back.

Ken has put up the new information we have on the varieties of tomatoes grown last year. Check it out. If you weighed a tomato last year and the variety is unknown to us but known to you, please let us know and we will update the listing. Thanks.
Marv, Dale and Ken.

Garden Rebel (Team Rebel Rousers)

Trying to do my part in filling in my three "blanks" on the 2015 GPC Tomato page. These were the lines I was able to research. The parent seeds were unregistered but their parent seeds were registered and on my seed packet.
4.69 Spaziani (3.51 Weston)(4.61 Finders)(5.07 Boudyo '10)
Not sure where the 5.07 Boudyo came from.
Can I assume it is a Big Zac? Others
originating from this seed are labeled Big Zac
4.18 Spaziani (4.27 Menting)(5.03 Menting '12)(4.79 Martin)
("Menting" '10) The 4.79 Martin also grew the
5.33 Martin, listed as Big Zac from 2014,
line 21 parent seed.
4.09 Spaziani (3.71 Weston)(4.90 Nieuwenhoff '12)(4.62 Timm)
(5.32 Timm '08) Can I assume my 4.09 is a Big
Zac? In '08 a 5.58 Timm was grown that was
later down the line listed as a Big Zac
mother seed ('14 line 16). The 5.32 and 5.58
Timm were listed as #1 and #2 in '08.

Garden Rebel, thank you for info. Boudyo 5.07 is Big Zac. The blanks will be filled in with the next update of 2015. Dale and Ken and I thank you.
