A lady from Queensland needs to grow tomatoes indoors because of animals eating her tomatoes. What lights do you use on tomatoes and where can she get them. I use shop lights her in America but they are 130 volt and Australia is 240 volt

I am using Platinum Led lights...They are hard to look at indoors...unless you happen to like really purple lights. If I had to live around the grow light all the time i would pick a metal halide will change to HPS for flowering. But LED's will grow plants for much cheaper . Platinum is one of the few companies that list the tested PAR numbers and spectrums. I have tested them against a bargain LED and have decided all LED lights are not the same.
Not the cheapest lights available...unless you calculate by cost/usable light. They have drivers available for 220V.

I have had much email contact with this company. My giant carrot is under these lights. We will see how indoor compares with outdoors this fall.

I just sent an email to platinum. He verified my information. His reply...
Hi Bob..

Yes, we ship around the world daily and our lights accept any input voltages
from 85v-260v.

he added this:
When we ship to other countries, we always include the proper cord for the destination country whatever it may be. Also, all units in stock with Amazon UK and all Amazon EU platforms ship with a UK style plug already included.

i hope this helps...at least it is one possibility..i know there should be others. I really like indoor growing...with tomatoes, if i mess up a plant i just start over. No waiting for the seasons to change.
