Right now I have 2.51 pounds being in first....I am not sure who is in second...is it garden rebel with his .02 oz slammer or Qtip with his 3.9 oz BER. Does someone know the cutoff for what is considered damaged? I know you still have one going wixom....does anyone else still have one possible?

mobymike still might be possible...last i heard he had two plants still going, but that was quite awhile ago. jsterry might still have one going on his grafted plant too...even though it was outside in january for a bit.

That is an impressive tomato for an indoor grow bnot. That is the best i could do 3 years ago outside !!! Do you think that you hydro plants will beat that ?

I noticed that since my bacement is at about 67° that it took my tomato two years ago around 50 after pollination to start turning. My current ones were pollinated jan 3 and they are still green and this is about 48 days after pollination.

my best hydro right now is 16 1/4 inches at 22 DA. It is looking solid, foliage is not the best i have seen but not the worst. There is a chance that it could be bigger than my soil one. I have another at 16 inches..but will have to wait until i pick it to determine if it is one tomato or two. I still am not going to be anywhere near what Dan Sutherland grew last year. His top two were incredible for an indoor grow.

My soil tomatoes turned way too early...I would have trouble getting the temp lower....was thinking about trying to vary light intensity or length. An extra 10 days of growth really would help.

Outdoors in the hot weather i think they would start turning anywhere from 35-42 days. Just observations, don't know what the best temperature is. Just noticing that it take longer for a tomato to change color with cool temps. I don't know if it changes the end result or not?

uh oh.......running to go add 3 squirts of "tiger bloom" to the hydro solution...the beard might be making a run. Keep them going Mike...if you go on vacation I am sure that qtip will volunteer to plant sit for you.
