Congrat Dan, you are the current leader for this year. Has to be somewhat of a disapointment from a seed that has grown two over 8 pounds. I am disapponted in the 5.85 Boudyo that I have growing in 55 gallon hydro too. I expect this early lead wil change soon. I am wondering....how many plants do you have growing? After growing the world record 8.61 a 4.8 pounder just is not big enough. Maybe next winter you can grow the first 4 pound indoor mater... hint I am looking for some good competition. |

It's not to surprising considering new soil,different climate, and not being able to amend soil until right before setting the plants out,I've had very nice blossoms on my 5.85 plants,but I've lost all the really nice ones to BER,bigger ones are on the way! |

my 5.85 only tossed a double. Fortunately I still have 3 seeds for future years . By the way, I have six of you seeds growing in my patch. The two 8.61's are by far my patch favorites at this time. |

Glad to hear my seeds are doing well for you so far,I'm anxious to see how they develop.I'd like to grow this winter,but will have to see how the house building goes in the spring.I'm sure it's possible to get at least a 5 or 6 pounder without to awfully much trouble. |

Wixom, it looks like you've got some nice ones coming on too,my setup is just plants clipped to strings,nothing special, I have to use the jumbo clips or else they choke the main leader,found out the hard way. |
