Congrat Dan, you are taking over the top 10 largest ever grown list. Before this year, there were no growers that had grown over 7 pounds more than once in their lifetime. Now you have 3. Tell us your secrets...

First off I want to give credit to who credit is due, I just plant the seeds and try to give them the best environment to grow, but I can't make them grow one speck,it's God that giveth the increase!! The 7.425 is out of my 6.24-2016 which is out of a small seed stock tomato grown in 2015 from a 5.3 Boudyo, the 7.425 measured 27.5 in. It's interesting to note that the weights of a certain seed that I've produced seems to increase in weight each year,I've read somewhere that is true if they're grown in ideal and healthy environment, that the seed is actually more vigorous. As far as pruning goes, the jury is still out,I haven't topped hardly any of my plants, and they are now 6 to 7 feet tall, the other 7.12 pounder is from my 5.85-2016,grown ad well from a small seed stock tomato in 2015, which came from 4.62 boudyo, both of the 7 ponders had 2 or 3 other tomatoes growing on them at the same time. I guess I've rambled enough, after all I'm just a newbie, what do I know! Gmay please please keep growing you can stay in the same sand box after all we're all trying to figure this thing out.thanks everyone for all the kind words, that's all part of the fun of growing giants, and bnot keep up the outside of the box thinking, if you do what everyone else does you won't be produce anything different than them.

One other thing, I started my plants in black gold potting soil this year, and I'll never do that again, they germinated just fine then sat there for a whole month not growing at all, I finally transplanted them into a different soil and then they started growing, they were the saddest looking starts ,I almost gave up .I trust I haven't given black gold a false bad rap, but I'll never use it again, maybe it was just a bad bag,but it's not worth taking anot her chance.

On top of Brush Mountain, Pa.

You are not only breaking the pruning rules with tall vines and more than one tomato per plant but you are also breaking the records for size.

Just because a record tomato is grown in a certain way doesn't mean that is the best or only way to do it,so just because that is what I did doesn't mean that the best way, maybe mine would've gotten bigger if I'd have done it some other way,the main reason for having multiple tomatoes on the plants was in case of BER on the lower one I'd still have a backup further up,and then it usually happens the the backup one has more potential and your left pulling your hair out try to decide it you should remove the lower one or just what, I've had a lot of these situations happen this season ugh!!maybe that's why I'm going bald.

4,62 Fulk was the variety "Delicous" or am I wrong?

I believe that you are right, according to the 2015 Gpc chart that is how it is listed, thanks for bringing that to my attention, it definitely has a different growth characteristic than BZ.
