Anyone here growing giant cucumbers? I grew a few Mammoth Zeepplins this year but can't find many people growing for big with cucumbers. Patrick White was growing some in Alaska but I believe he stopped posting on BigPumpkins?

I´ve started too early this year again.
Had 12.99 lbs last year, one fruit is allrady harvested a second one growing.
It´s growing in a 90 liter pot in pure peat soil.

You can grow them quiet the same as salat cucumbers. Just choose a single, nicly placed, straight and helathy fruit and pick all others.

I've got some big ones growing on some 20.20 White seeds and my brother just weighed a 16.71 pounder off Cornish Giant long and heavy cucumber seed. First time growing them, they are a hoot.

I had three this year: 16 lbs., 17 lbs. 9 oz., and finally 14 lbs. 6oz. I firmly believe the 17 lb. one could have went heavier, but it broke off on a really windy night.
