Just a reminder, there is a Zac Heart tomato comp going on. I sent 5 seeds to the following people: Steve Marley (Porkchop), Chris Qualley (Q-tip), Chris Konieczny (Wixom Chris), Robert Borgers (BNOT), Nathan Schaller (Giants-KS92), Josh Macy (NCgardener), Steve Oglesby (Steve O), Hayden R., Wayne Moore (Peace Wayne), Ben Pridgen (ESheel 31), Gary May (gmay), Austin Murphy (Weird Wint), Brandon Clayton (Glenomkins), Rick Spaziani (Garden Rebel/myself).

These are the only people in the contest. Rules: You can enter a certified weighed tomato as many times as you want. Tomato needs to be sound and follow the GPC tomato weigh-off rules in the following link.

The contest will end November 1st, 2018.

1st Prize: *$100 + 1625.5 Gantner courtesy of BNOT
2nd Prize: $50 + glass tomato paper weight
3rd Prize: $25 + glass tomato paper weight
*Anybody that can grow a 6 lb plus will get a $50 bonus.

Since it is my contest and my seeds, I cannot win a place. I'm just in it for fun just like you guys!

The season is long..when i finally start the zacheart will be in a special place in my garden. Tomorrow morning is planned first soaking of seeds. I have to wonder..is my pb of the year going to be set by an F1 for the third year in a row?

I wish he was done..If last year was any indication...qtip is the most difficult competititon for fall weigh off tomatoes. Give it you best shot mr qualley. We split last year. 2018 I will be trying to take them all.

Nice megablooms on two of mine. But plants are a little smaller than i expected! I will post pictures tomorrow.

With my five plants the tops were broken off with hail. Three have megablooms but either way it will be later in the summer for better results. I'm a firm believer this year in the later blooms so I'm patient. Should be easy money with an official scale weight for those who are persistent.

Got a juicy one forming on the 2.06....I only have one plant so don;t feel bad....I had a storm that blew almost all my maters out of their pots and lost about 20 maters identities except for one 2.06 and one 8.36 bouydo....wheeeee
