Wow if im correct dan Sutherlands 9.44 world record and Porkchops 8.22 came from my 5.95 konieczny(Domingo) seed !!! I gave some to jack larue, i hope he planted some ?

Your 5.95 is now ahead of the 5.85

5.95 grew the 9.44 and the 8.22
5.85 grew the 8.61 and the 8.36

I might still have a 5.95 unplanted in my collection

I just looked at the current tomato weighoff results for 2018. There are 7 tomatoes listed and wixom is part of the genetics of 3 of those. Domingo, MegaZac and MegaMuttD. Does anyone have an idea of what a Gostolutu-coui-euganei is?

what domingo seed used for the wixom slammer...I might have to get a fourth of your varieties up on the board this year. Have 2 F3's that are showing promise.

I beleive the wixom slammer had the 5.75 porkchop domingo in it.the 5.95 came from porkchops 5.55 domingo. I someting print the wrong domingo on accident.

I grew the 5.95 domingo right next to the 6.13 and 6.23 Megazacs. I don't know if they crossed pollinated on their own but their is that posibility being so close together ???

I have been watching the bees this year in my garden. I have more this year than ever before. I have no doubt a certain amount of cross pollination is happening. I think that it would affect just a few seeds out of each tomato though. Most of the seeds would be pure. I have my keeper brutus magnum right next to a 7.33 hunt delicious. That would be something if the bees crossed those outside..and then i bring them inside to make my planned cross. The F1 would be all scrambled in genes then. Do you have any plans for crossing this winter wixom?

Again, the seeds are cool. Let's say everybody has these seeds. Listen everybody. I would rather pay for HOW he grew the tomato. This is the answer. Will he reveal this? No. It's not the seed necessarily, it's your environment and technique. Correct me if I am wrong, please.

Let's say you have 50 5.95 Wixom Domingo seeds. You want to grow a world record. The world record holder even reads this. Will he give you two sh**ts of advice. No. How will this benefit him? Will people try to benefit. Yes. This is how the seed world turns. Correct me if I'm wrong... Go!

Chris, is going to get swamped now with requests for the 5.95. I have even had emails already..people wondering if I had an in with acquiring a 9.44. If anyone is interested, I do not. Dan S does not go to this board. Boudyo when he was growing did not spend much time on this board. Dan S does keep in contact with a few growers. Chris and myself have compared notes on what we know of Dan S techniques on compost teas. I think the growers that are on good terms with Dan should stay in contact. We will pick up bits of information as we can and share it. Dan S will probably never write a how-to-grow book. This winter when I start develop my website, I expect he will be willing to look at my drafts and give advice of what i could say better.

You are right Rebel...technique is way more important than seed. With my experimentation...For example i know that a little bit of difference in environment (nutrient levels) can be the difference between plants pushing single or supermega blossoms.

Some seeds react faster than others.
