All this hype. When are we going to see some actual weights? Tomato growing is starting to resemble the political campaigns we are now experiencing. I know there have to be some really big ones out there. But, they aren't in my garden. I remember what the pumpkin growers used to say. And it is pertinent now. The old saying was, "When the tailgate drops, the bullshit stops." Can someone come up with a similar saying for tomatoes? All ears and looking forward to getting some seeds from all you guys after all is said and done. Here is my thought. "The end of the tale comes when it's on the scale."

Hype and sandbagging is all we have for the grower and spectator otherwise it can be a...sleepy hobby. I don’t know, Porkchop needing to wear a diaper when he weighs his tomato might have entertainment value. In the blink of an eye it’ll be winter and all the weights have been entered, and through it all what I enjoyed the most was the creative dialog and hype by good hearted growers.
