Fellow Giant Tomato growers:
After having received several requests for an updated book on growing giant tomatoes, I talked with Don Langevin. He is willing to proceed with putting together an updated version of the book. It may take anywhere from 6 months to a year to put it together. One problem we have is that we need more pictures of tomatoes and some of the things we do in the garden to include in the book. If you have any digital pictures that you would be willing to share and they are used we will give you credit in the book. What we need most are pictures of tomatoes and some of the techniques we use, like say a picture of your compost tea maker, a tomato being supported, a diseased tomato, tomatoes growing in containers and stuff like that. What we don't need is a picture of you standing there holding your tomato. We need interesting pictures. Maybe one of your garden. Maybe your compost pile. Maybe what your garden looks like after a hurricane comes through. I think you get the idea. Send things you think other people would enjoy seeing. Please send your digital pictures to marvin.meisner@gmail.com We appreciate your help.
Thanks Marv ps: Jim Gatewood started this ball rolling. Thanks to you Jim. Your updated working copy of the book is on the way.

Jane and Phil please send me whatever you like the best. Don will have the final word. I liked the one we used in the past with the two of you and your big Delicious tomato. That was a classic.

Hope the book goes well. I'm sure we would all love to read it. To few giant growing books around. Also I only know of one for giant tomatoes besides yours(don't remember name or author though).
