Hi all my name is Mick.
I Was here a few years ago growing big pumpkin and tall corn. Now I'm back having a go at heavy tomatoes. I'm in Brisbane QLD which is subtropical so I'm growing over our cooler months to see how we can go. Starting small with some heirloom beefsteak tomatoes just to get a feeler the grow. hoping to hit over the 1kg mark this grow, which is small for most of you here but huge in Australia lol. I'm purchasing the new Tomato bible and am excited to learn some techniques.
Will keep you posted as I go.

I didn't know there were many big tomato growers in Australia? Good to know I'll have to get in contact with them. Congratulations on your record.

Its winter here soon but I think I have a good start and will be a good opportunity for me to get my tech right. I should get another planting out before Summer. Which will be too hot and humid for big tomatoes.
