I have been formally notified of a contender. It's taping 28 inches + or -
I have secured a representative to be present and witness this fruit when the time comes to weigh it.
Updates will comes as I get them.

At this time and until it is weighed the grower will remain anonymous, so don't ask cause I can't tell ya.

GOOD LUCK ______ ________

It's porkchop for sure...the only one he wishes luck to is himself!

Lol.. we’re a long way off...there’s a few it could be this early..Dan s, Jeff treece, Patrick white, Larry hill, Cindy , Jack, Scott holub...so many great growers giving these things a serious shot this year...we’re just getting started. Nuttin here for us yet....but I started a week later this year. If you have made the call, yer pretty excited right now. I’m excited for them. The 9.65 was a July 20th pollination for anyone feeling a little behind!!

Not me. The largest I have is 23". If I were going to a weigh off, I wouldn't start setting them until Aug. Still lots of time.

So - 3 week notice assuming it was at the time of the post vs some time before it - mean 9 Aug onwards is the due date.

Exciting!
